Responsibilities

The Clerk-Treasurer is the Chief Financial Officer of the town. In this role, Mrs. Hawrot is responsible for the overall collection and disbursement of funds, the administration of the accounting system, the signing of checks or warrants, clerk of the Town Council, custodian of municipal and utility records, and issuer of licenses. Additionally, she has broad powers to hire and supervise employees and oversee the operation of the municipal budget.

2011 Rental Registration Form
In 2009 the Town Council implemented a Rental Registration for all rental properties in the Town of Dyer. The fee is $10 per rental unit and must be renewed each year by January 31st. More...
