The 2026 Contractor Registration is now avaliable.
The Town of Dyer requires ALL construction contractors to be registered.
Please submit the following:
- A completed application.
- $50.00 registration fee.
- A current $5,000.00 bond, which must be recorded in Crown Point at the Lake County Government Center located at 2293 N. Main Street (219) 775-3730. If a copy of the original bond displaying the County recorder's stamp is on file with the building department, the continuation certificate for that same bond number does not need to display the recorder's stamp.
- A certificate of insurance in the amount greater than or equal to $500,000.00 for single limit coverage for bodily injury and property damage. The certificate of insurance must show the Town of Dyer as a certificate holder.
Provided below is an electronic copy of the Contractor Registration Application. Please following the directions included and submit the completed application to the Building Department.
Applications can be submitted in person or by email at building@townofdyer.com.
Please make sure you submit all required materials at the same time, rather than piece-by-piece.
