INDOT: Rt. 30 Construction
Closure restrictions for US 30, extending from US 41 to the state line.
Superior Construction is set to begin operations on or after April 21, 2024 and is expected to last through May 5, 2024. The work will commence on the left lanes and the center turn lane, from US 41 to Calumet Avenue, and will then extend from Calumet Avenue to the state line.
Following the completion of the center lanes, the focus will shift to the EB right lanes (outside lanes) from the state line to Calumet Ave, where patching and ADA ramp construction will take place.
The sequence of operations will continue as follows:
- After finishing the EB right lanes from the state line to Calumet Ave, work will proceed on the EB right lanes from Calumet Ave to US 41.
- Once the EB right lanes from Calumet Ave to US 41 are complete, attention will turn to the WB right lanes from US 41 to Calumet Ave.
- Finally, the WB right lanes from Calumet Ave to the state line will be addressed.
