There is a dumpster available for town residents at the Public Works Department. Business hours are weekdays 7:00am to 3:00pm (excludes holidays) and the first Saturday of the month May through September, 9:00am to 1:00pm. Residents must show proof of residency by providing either a driver’s license or utility bill. The following items cannot be put in the dumpster: (1) Demolition or Construction/Remodeling debris, siding, fencing, decks, etc (2) Hazardous waste, paint, gas, oil (3) Roofing material (4) Household Garbage (5) Bricks or Concrete (6) Propane Tanks (7) Batteries (8) Lawn waste, leaves, branches, mulch, gravel or rocks. There is a separate dumpster available for anyone within Lake County for tires and metal. This is recycled by the County.
