Summary The residents at the Assisted Living benefit from this project. It is located at 601 Sheffield Ave. in Dyer. Members participated by cleaning up the greenhouse that was not being used, bringing in their own plants, and arranging for tables and chairs for the residents. The first phase of this project was to make sure that all plants were watered by the residents when they came in with their activity director. This was done by a rotating schedule of all club members. The second phase of the project was to have several hands-on projects with the Dyer Assisted Living residents, including planting lavender seeds, paper white narcissus bulbs, and amaryllis bulbs. Poinsettia fantasy flowers were made with some of the Sheffield Manor residents, and used to decorate the Christmas tree in the Activity Room. Projected Cost 1/1/1900 12:00:00 AM
